The Eurasian Eagle owl is among the largest of his kind and reaches a wing span of 78 inches. The females are bigger as in this case and can weigh up to 10 lbs. It has brilliant yellow-orange eyes that are characteristic. Like all raptors (and many other birds), the eyes of an owl do not move in their sockets, Instead, the bird is able to swing its neck around almost 270 degrees and it has excellent stereoscopic vision.
