Hoi An is a beautiful town on the east coast of central vietnam and at one time was the biggest port in the South China Sea. Today it is a quaint little place very popular with tourists and the old part of the town is a UNESCO world heritage site. The place is famous for its lanterns, tailoring (get a suit made to order in one day) and its arts and crafts, including silk embroidery.
